Road Scholar

Road Scholar Programs at Laurelville

Weave together travel with learning opportunities during a Road Scholar program hosted at Laurelville. Road Scholar is the not-for-profit leader in educational travel and learning vacations for adults from Alaska to Italy.

Laurelville has served as a Road Scholar (formerly called Elderhostel) host for two decades, and currently hosts two programs:

Maryland & Penn.: A Bike Trek in the Great Allegheny Passage

Frank Lloyd Wright: Revolutionary Contributions to Modern Architecture

Road Scholar is closely monitoring guidance from public health agencies, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and have developed protocols and guidance for Program Providers to decrease the potential for transmission of COVID‐19, while still allowing for the special camaraderie of a Road Scholar educational experience.
