Family Fun Walk

Saturday, April 17, 10 am in the Lodge at Laurelville

Finally, an in-person event! “Family Fun Walk” at 10am on Saturday, April 17 at Laurelville’s Lodge. Excela Nutritionist Dawn Davoli, RDN, will teach families the importance of staying hydrated; participants will discover the sugar content of popular beverages, and then they’ll make and taste a homemade Gatorade recipe and create their own delicious fruit infused water. Take home information and a free water bottle will be included. Mary Kaufman will then review the Strava app with families so they can learn to track their exercise with GPS and compete amongst each other. We will take our fruit-infused waters and enjoy a stroll around Laurelville to practice using the app and getting to know the 600-acre camp’s grounds and trails. Approximately 2 hours. Must pre-register, space is limited to 25 people.  $5 per person. This event will be held rain or shine. Guests should dress for a walk in the woods. Walking sticks are welcome.
