Laurelville seeks an experienced Cook to join our team.
Job responsibilities include: cooking and speedy meal prep & timely meal delivery, quality & waste control, creative problem solving, addressing issues with flexibility, grace & humor!
Evenings & weekends required. Flexible scheduling of 5-20 hours/week. Hourly wage $9/hour (negotiable commensurate with experience). Benefits include: meals while on duty, free swimming/facility use for immediate family.
Qualified candidates possess:

- 1-year minimum experience in food service

- Current Food Safe certification ideal (not mandatory)

Summer Camp Counselors: We’re looking for counselors who possess a love for Jesus Christ and a desire to encourage growth and discipleship to join our Summer Camp staff. Must be 18 years of age or older. If under 18, can apply as a junior counselor (please indicate on application). Counselors and Camp Directors are required to attend Summer Camp Orientation which is June 10-13. Counselors are expected to attend the Sunday afternoon staff meeting at the beginning of each week and stay at camp through Friday afternoon’s staff debrief meeting. Counselors are expected to assist in taking photos, coordinating games, instructing crafts, leading outdoor activities, and providing good care based on the policies explained at orientation. Counselors who are musically gifted are invited to help lead worship.
Day Camp Counselors: We’re looking for counselors who possess a love for Jesus Christ and a desire to encourage growth and discipleship to join our Day Camp staff. Counselors are required to attend Day Camp Orientation. Counselors are expected to assist in taking photos, coordinating games, instructing crafts, leading outdoor activities, presenting Bible lessons, and providing good care based on the policies explained at orientation.

Laurelville is hiring lifeguards for our 2020 pool season. Lifeguards must present proof of their American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross has extended certifications for 120 days this year). Lifeguards are expected to be attentive and alert at all times to the activities in the pool. Guards must be able to handle the safety of our guests firmly but with care and consideration for their retreat experience at Laurelville. Lifeguards are also responsible for cleaning the pool prior to opening and cleanup at the end of the day.
This year we plan to be open daily in two sessions from 12-3 and 4-7 from mid-June to Labor Day, and some weekends in September. Guests must register in advance due to limited numbers. Soft opening expected by June 15. Safety measures in place to protect guests’ wellness. *Dates may change due to COVID-19 regulations.
